Delivery Conditions – Ants
All orders placed on Fourmitures.fr are processed within 1 to 2 days, Monday through Sunday. For Monday shipping, orders must be finalized by 4 PM on Sunday. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the next business day.
Packages containing ants are shipped only on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are committed to preparing all orders with the utmost care.
⚠️ Live ant delivery
Ants are living organisms, and their survival depends on transport and rearing conditions. While we make every effort to ensure they are in good condition for shipping, we cannot guarantee that the colonies will arrive alive . The risks associated with extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold) are clearly indicated on the website.
Delivery Times
- Metropolitan France: 2 to 5 working days (average observed: 3 days).
- Europe: 4 to 15 working days (average observed: 8 days).
These delivery times are indicative. A delivery delay cannot give rise to damages, cancellation or refusal of the order.
Carrier and tracking
Shipping is handled by La Poste. Packages containing ants are always shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure optimal transport conditions.
Risk transfer
In accordance with Article L. 216-4 of the French Consumer Code, all risk of loss or damage to the Products is transferred to the Customer when they (or a designated third party) take physical possession of the Products. It is the Customer's responsibility to check the condition of the packages upon receipt and to make any necessary reservations with the carrier in the event of damage or missing items.
We recommend checking your packages upon receipt and contacting us immediately if there is any problem.
