We invite you to carefully read our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) and General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTU) before placing an order.

⚠️ Sale of live ants: Ants are living organisms, and their survival depends on transport and rearing conditions. Fourmitures.fr makes every effort to ensure their well-being at the time of shipment, but we cannot guarantee that the colonies will arrive alive. Extreme weather risks (heat or cold) are indicated on the website, and the customer is responsible for transport under these conditions.

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to and use of the Fourmitures.fr website and the sale of all products: ants, colonies, nests, food and accessories.

2. Acceptance

By using the site, you fully accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Terms of Use.

3. Access to the site

Access is free. All related costs (connection, equipment) are the responsibility of the user.

4. Customer Account

  • Creating an account is optional but recommended for your orders.
  • The information provided must be accurate and up-to-date.
  • The user is responsible for their username and password.
  • Fourmitures.fr may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of the Terms and Conditions.

5. Products

  • Product features are accurately presented, but images are not contractual.
  • Availability is indicated on each product page. In case of unavailability after ordering, cancellation or replacement is possible.
  • Climatic conditions: Ordering ants during periods of extreme temperatures may result in mortality. The customer is informed and accepts this risk.

6. Price and Payment

  • Price in euros including VAT, excluding delivery charges.
  • Secure online payment (credit card, PayPal, etc.).
  • Orders >€150: additional processing time of 24-72 hours to secure the transaction.

7. Orders

  • Process: selection, validation, identification, delivery, payment.
  • Validation = acceptance of prices, products and Terms and Conditions.
  • Confirmation by email.
  • Fourmitures.fr may cancel an order due to unavailability, fraud, or extreme weather conditions.

8. Delivery

  • Delivery to the address provided by the customer.
  • Estimated delivery times: France 2-5 working days, Europe 4-15 working days.
  • Parcels containing ants are sent on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
  • Transfer of risk to the customer upon receipt.

9. Guarantees

  • Legal guarantee of conformity and hidden defects.
  • Live ants are guaranteed only in their condition at the time of shipment. Evidence (photos/videos) is required for any claim.

10. Responsibility

Fourmitures.fr declines all responsibility for problems related to the Internet or mishandling by the customer.

11. Right of withdrawal

14-day return period for eligible products (excluding live ants). Return shipping is at the customer's expense; products must be complete and in their original condition.

12. Intellectual Property

Texts, images, and logos are protected by copyright and trademarks. Any reproduction is prohibited without authorization.

13. Personal data

The information collected is necessary for order processing and customer relationship management.

14. Hyperlinks

Fourmitures.fr accepts no responsibility for external sites.

15. Modification of the Terms and Conditions

Fourmitures.fr reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable Terms and Conditions are those in effect on the date of your use or order.

16. Applicable Law and Disputes

French law. Mediation or French courts alone shall have jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
