⚖️ My honest opinion on this system

I'll be completely transparent with you: I'm not yet 100% convinced by this system for all my colonies. Out of habit, I remain a staunch supporter of traditional cotton for my personal foundations.

However, there is one situation where this foam stopper becomes an essential accessory : if you are raising Messor ants . These ants love to attack the cotton in water reservoirs, sometimes causing flooding or escapes. This stopper offers a resistance that cotton simply cannot match.

Sold individually, this stopper is designed to replace the cotton at the tube inlet or at the water reservoir:

• ✅ Anti-Nibbling: Its structure is much harder to shred than traditional cotton fibers.

🛠️ My usage recommendations

1. For Messor: Use it primarily to seal your foundation tubes. This will prevent your cotton from being scattered in the hunting area and your water reservoir from running dry.
2. Humidification: Ensure the cap is thoroughly soaked if it serves as a separator with the water reservoir, so that moisture can pass through the foam.
3. Hygiene: Between uses, rinsing with boiling water or cleaning with my cleaning brush ensures perfect sterility.
